What to know before you buy

  • If you will not live here full time, check pied-à-terre and subletting rules. Many co-ops restrict or ban both.
  • Ask about building access and noise if you are considering a block close to the hospitals or a major cross street.
  • This is the closest part of the Upper East Side to Midtown, so compare commute time to your office rather than distance.

Descriptions are general and approximate. Verify boundaries, building rules, taxes and fees for any property before you rely on them.
